This was one of those urgent quick turnaround projects —the client already had a wordmark, some mood boards, and a brief but needed help translating this into the packaging. The client had clear ideas around creating a label with a distinct coastal look and feel—sophisticated yet supremely relaxed. Working collaboratively, we bounced ideas back and forth; however, tight time parameters led us to a solution where we reworked a previously created series of abstract botanicals. We also had to be very clever with choosing paper stock and using print embellishments to avoid blowing the already limited production budget. Bright White Felt was selected for its weight and texture —and because it looks super premium. Credit must also go to Christina and the team at MCC Label, who did a fantastic job bringing out the intensity of the colours in the final labels.
