’Stories From Paradise’ is a project that explores the deeply rooted culture of Maldives through its mythology. Using characters from Maldivian folklore, a series of posters were created using coloured cut-paper to depict the combination of tourism and traditional culture that define the country today. Images of the posters were then curated into a book that outlines the cultural significance of these folktales.
